Terms
All goods are non-returnable unless faulty or damaged upon delivery. Customers are
reminded that they should satisfy themselves that the product that they are ordering
is suitable for their requirements and no responsibility is placed with Peter Stott
Limited for their decision. All prices on our website and are given in good faith
and are in pound sterling, Peter Stott Limited reserves the right to alter any price
on the website before you place an order. Peter Stott Limited reserves the right
to refuse any order at its absolute discretion.
DELIVERIES
A signature is required
upon delivery for all goods.
Carriers will make delivery to the door (or site) but not locations within. Deliveries to addresses with a central receiving area will be delivered to that area. Goods are delivered to the receivers address but not necessarily to the named contact.
Should you fail to take delivery at the appointed address and time, goods may be returned to our warehouse or supplier. The costs incurred where goods are returned in relation to failed delivery attempts shall be passed on to you, the customer.
Claims for non delivery of goods must be made to us in writing within 7 days of the invoice date.
You must make sure that you have adequate provision and personnel to receive goods once off-loaded from the vehicle as the driver is under no further obligation from that point. You must make sure that you have checked all dimensions thoroughly and have adequate access for the goods being delivered, particularly large and bulky items.
Peter Stott Ltd reserves the right to charge for failed deliveries.
RETURNS
Goods must be returned within 7 days of order,and with prior approval from
Peter Stott Limited. Returned goods will only be accepted if they are correctly packed
in the original packaging, with original manuals and have not been used. A restocking
charge of 25% of manufactures retail price will be levied on all such goods.All refunds
will be issued upon receipt of returned goods.
Customers are responsible for ensuring goods are returned suitably packaged and for
obtaining the necessary proof of delivery and receipt.Where applicable carriage or
postal charges are not refunded in the event of a customer returning goods.
Goods
may not be returned without prior authorisation and a Goods Return Authorisation
Number from Peter Stott Limited which can be obtained by contacting our customer
service on 01706 648526
Our policy is one of continuous improvement and we reserve
the right to change specifications without notice.
All orders are subject to our full terms and conditions of sale as outlined below.
1. Terms and Conditions.
1.1 The Supplier shall mean Peter Stott Ltd. The Buyer shall mean the firm, person, company, or corporation by whom the order is given. Where the Buyer is two or more persons their liability under these conditions shall be joint and several.
2. Order Acceptance.
2.1 All orders are accepted subject to these terms and conditions of sale.
2.2 The supplier reserves the right to decline any orders made.
2.3 No contract exists between the Buyer and the Supplier for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received and accepted your order and the Supplier has received payment in full (cleared funds). Once the Supplier does so, there is a legal contract between us.
2.4 The Supplier may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
3. Description & Price of Goods.
3.1 The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on the Suppliers website at the time you place your order.
3.2 The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and refund or re - credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
3.3 We reserve the right to change the prices shown at any time and we will contact you before we confirm your order if there are any changes.
3.4 All prices exclude VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate.
3.5 Goods are not sold on a trial basis. Buyers should check full product descriptions and suitability before ordering.
4. Payment / Title of Goods.
4.1 By credit card . Business Cheque, Bank Transfer call 01706 648526. For further details.
4.2 There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received.
4.3. Title of goods shall not pass to the Buyer until full payment has been received. Default of payment the Supplier reserves the right to repossess wherever they are.
5. Delivery.
5.1 Deliveries only o mainland U.K. will take up to seven working days from receipt of Order.

5.3 All deliveries are to ground floor access only.and entry through door by pallet
or stack truck
5.4 Claims for non-delivery must be within seven days from date of
order.
6. Acceptance of Delivery.
6.1 The Buyer must examine the Goods upon delivery, Please check that the exterior packing is undamaged. You may unpack the Goods to check the delivery is ok. Do not sign the carriers documents unless you are totally satisfied with the delivery. Carriers documents signed for as unexamined are not acceptable. Some carriers use computer pads, please check what you are signing for.
6.2 Please advise your Goods in Department, or the persons who are likely to receive the delivery of what is expected of them. IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY IN ANYWAY WITH THE DELIVERY YOU CAN REFUSE IT. THERE ARE NO COSTS TO THE BUYER FOR REFUSING A DELIVERY.
6.3 Damaged Goods.
In the event of goods being received damaged, you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt of delivery. This must be done by contacting customer care dept on tel 01706 648526
7. Warranty of Goods.
7.1 All goods supplied by the Supplier are warranted. All products have a minimum 12 months parts and labour. Some items have a return to manufacturer warranty.
7.2 All warranty calls are placed with the Manufacturer and are normally dealt with within 24 hours.
7.3 The warranty does not cover defects caused by unsuitable storage conditions or processing, abnormal use, misuse or neglect, or installation by unauthorised or unqualified personnel. If the engineer deems that the call is not covered by the warranty, an invoice will be raised for the call, The buyer will be informed of this as soon as the engineer's report becomes available
7.4 The Supplier shall not be liable in any way for any loss or expense, profit, suffered by the Buyer arising out of the Suppliers negligence or a breach by the Supplier of this contract.
7.5 Nothing in this clause shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Supplier.
8 Access & Installation.
8.1 The sample measurements, dimensions, contained on the website constitute only an approximate guide. The Supplier reserves the right to make changes, which they in their absolute discretion consider necessary.
8.2 The Buyer should check product specifications and suitability before ordering.
8.3 A Corgi Registered Engineer must install all gas appliances. A competent engineer must install all other appliances. Failing to do this will invalidate any manufacturers warranty.

10 Liability.
10.1 Peter Stott Ltd excludes any liability for any claims, loss, damages, demands of any kind whatsoever with usage of the website, including direct or indirect, incidental or consequential loss, damage, whether arising from loss of revenue, profits or otherwise.
10.2 This clause shall exclude liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence of Peter Stott Ltd or any other liability which is prohibited from excluding at English Law.
11 Law.
11.1 English law governs the terms and conditions and use of this site and any disputes
shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
12 Force Majeure
Neither
party shall be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, strike, lock out
industrial action, fire or other event beyond the reasonable control of either party.
